Pekin Trip 2010
Enjoy a collection of photographs showing Troop 1 activities over the years.
Photographs are copyrighted and should not be copied without written permission. These are photographs of the troop's trip to the
Pekin, Indiana camp in late March 2010 where they worked on basic skills including fire-building and lashing. The group also did tracking and one of
their favorite games - "manhunt." We also visited The Depot in Salem where there is a fantastic collection of local railroading
history. The basement houses a large HO scale model railroad depicting scenes in Washington County. The trip was not without its share of adventure
as one vehicle had a flat tire. In the excitement, the vehicle keys got locked in the vehicle. All of us enjoyed a lovely evening
stranded along a back country road while we awaited the arrival of the wrecker. Oh well, we promise adventure.
